Leawood Gazette is a school newspaper at Leawood High. The newspaper has had many writers and editors since the school was founded.

The faculty advisor of Leawood Gazette, is Mr. Archer, an English Teacher.

  • Laurie Evans - Co-Editor of The Odyssey from 1996-2000.
  • Becky Greene - She wrote many articles during her time at LHS, including one about how Leawood shoud cancel the Brentwood's Beauty Pageant. This reaction shocked fellow member Michelle Healy, who encouraged her sister to enter the pageant.
  • Marvin Dilton - As Co-Editor, Marvin wrote many articles for the school, including reports on Michelle Healy's protests, the robberies inside of the school, interviews for bands, and teen issues. He was a part of the team from 1996-2000.
  • Michelle Healy - She wrote many articles during her high school years in Double Trouble, including one about how Mr. Franklin should be fired from Leawood High for his mistreatment of the unpopular students. She was part of the team from 1996 to 2000.
  • Chelsea Owens - Chelsea was a photographer for the paper when she transferred to Leawood in 1999. It is assumed that she worked for the paper until she graduated.
  • Dean Cameron - Dean was sports editor of the paper. He wrote many sports articles for the school. He was friends with fellow member Michelle Healy and best friends with her ex-boyfriend, Ethan Ford. He also dated Michelle's twin, Erin. He replaced Jackson Carter when he graduated in 1999.
  • Amy Fredricks - Amy was the Arts Editor of the paper. She kissed fellow member Michelle Healy.
